Commonsense School of Midwifery (CSM) provides a 3-year educational midwifery program that teaches the JJ Way model of care for midwives. This hybrid program allows students to learn remotely and complete practical hours at various locations, under the supervision of a preceptor during their clinical rotations. CSM sought to develop the “JJ Way Clinical Tracker” to streamline the workflow for submission, verification, and reporting of clinical/practical hours for midwifery students. This platform will also be utilized by other midwifery schools in the future.

Platform Overview
Norus Technologies partnered with CSM to develop the JJ Way Clinical Tracker. We began with an intensive Design & Discovery phase to thoroughly understand CSM’s needs and define the platform’s requirements. This phase was crucial to ensure the final product would effectively meet the needs of midwifery students, preceptors, and administrators.
The JJ Way Clinical Tracker enables users to sign in to the platform, be assigned to a program, and submit forms for review and approval. Key features include robust user management, program assignment, form submission and approval processes, a commenting system, client management features, and email notifications. These features streamline the workflow for managing and reporting clinical/practical hours.
